Negative! United States Marine Corps, I was just aboard a Naval ship in transit to the middle east, we detoured south along the east african coast (somalia) when it heated up 2 years ago, then stopped off in Kenya which is south of the Equator.

Do you know what a polywog is? The next step up is a Shellback according to Naval/Marine Corps traditions. I AM a true Shellback!! 18 hours of straight hazing and going through a gauntlet awarded me the honor aboard USS Oak Hill.
