So let me get this straight; you think Oil corps are evil, the Waltons should be ashamed, but you think its good to invest in these companies for profit... You also think its OK for OTHER peoples kids to be someone "slaves" so you can turn a profit....just not your son?

Minimum-wage workers are older than they used to be. Their average age is 35, and 88 percent are at least 20 years old. Half are older than 30, and about a third are at least 40.
Workers with families. Hard workers. They all deserve better from places such as Mc Donalds, Burger King, Walmarts.
In the states that have raised the minimum wage their unemployment has gone down and businesses are thriving because of more $$ in circulation.

I remember when Reagan wanted to lower the minimum wage and my 16 yr old son was working at Krogers(union). I told him if they do then to quit cause I didn't want my son to be someones slave. .

I earned my retirement and don't really care where my financial advisor handles my account. I worry about the bottom line. If he wants to invest in cat houses, drugs, communists, or anything else vile and evil like corporations or the GOP party then be my guest. Just make me $$. That's the #1 conservative far right principle. They use it, so can I.

No, I don't like the big oil companies and never have cared for Wallys World. I don't get the tax breaks or the low interest business loans that the corps get either. Tuff sheet for me on that also.

You don't like them, but you depend on them for your retirement-and if those so-called 'subsidies' were taken away, you'd be screwed and lose your 'profits'-which is exactly what would happen to ExxonMobil, et al-including yourself, so Obama's attack on "EVIL OIL" is an attack on YOU and most Middle Class US Citizens. I think you may want to rethink your voting in the future-you just voted for lower profits!!

I don't own FUBU Stock-it makes profits but I am against them because they are racists IMO. Maybe you should divest your current portfolio and buy only stocks like FUBU???

Sometimes people may not have that opportunity or choice because of making a living and raising a family or taking care of a sick family member or whatever. I don't really believe that anyone would want to stay in a minimum wage job but that might be the only career choice they have. I always give anyone the benefit of the doubt but also believe they deserve to make a decent living when working and making a corporation huge profits for stockholders and then taxpayers having to help with government assistance so they can just get by. last Christmas, Walmart employees were getting SNAP benefits and then also doing food drives for employees that were working with them.
The Walton family should be ashamed.
