Keep you boat clean just don't run the channel or anywhere near the dike. Go west young man, Go west. By the way the stingrays are back. Ran up on several wade fishing last weekend.

I'm waiting on your picks! The play tonight was suppose to be SMU in the NIT...didn't play it so that means they'll cover with room to spare.

The Dimocrats have met with the USCG:

Reps. Joaquin Castro (D-San Antonio) , Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Houston), Gene Green (D-Houston), and Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-Dallas) met with Houston-Galveston Coast Guard Commandant Admiral Bob Papp on Wednesday to discuss the cleanup of the large oil spill that occurred in the Houston Ship Channel on Saturday.

And though top priority will be given to cleaning up the large mess, Ackley said that legislators brainstormed (How, none of those demagogues have a brain!!!) Thursday about possible legislation that could reduce dangerously high traffic in the area and prevent future spills.

“They prioritize clean up and second is opening lanes back up to traffic so any ships that traverse the area don’t go through the spill and expose people, fish or other boats,” Ackley said. “The members are just thinking out loud. They didn’t come up with anything at the luncheon as to what kind of response or potential legislation might be available but they are thinking along those lines on how to address the higher traffic which ultimately might have been the culprit.

Jezwas Farging Crmist, it was the FOG AND NEGLIGENCE. These camera crazy farging idiots have no GD clue about anything except getting their picture taken. If they want to be useful, get a rag and start cleaning up oil or better yet resign and move to China or commit suicide-bunch of worthless POS.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

I've been waiting for the politicians to weigh in. They're all afraid of big oil. I guess the gov. is waiting for the cleanup to be deemed successful before he does a fly over. He knows better than to light on Galveston Island, he'll be booed off the stage, worse than his night in Austin on the Jimmy Kimmel show.

We could take SJL's hairdo and mop up half the spill with it. Likely the hair on her torso/body would soak up so much water/oil the bay would be like an extremely low tide during a 45 mph NE wind (she alone blows a 45 mph wind-mainly out her rear though.)

                    • Bet governor good hair would soak up more! Of course, he'd probably spew more toxic waste than he could absorb.

                        • I just left some of my friends down at the docks at the channel. I had a little crane job there today. They have 5 - 200ft work boats that have been trapped in the channel and haven't been able to service their rigs or contracts because of this spill. The vessels are all red tagged no sail by the coast guard as they all have MDO- oil along their hulls. They had to load their gear then get escorted to a cleaning depot where the vessels will all be contained and cleaned before they make way. Their estimated cost to date for delays, downtime, cleaning, permits, is already at 3.7 million dollars and still climbing. This is just one of the many companies that are effected. Kirby has already started a line of communication for the charges and have already begun the acceptance of responsibility. Now think about this, if that is one company and the channel was totally shut down for 4 days. their where a minimum of 26 ships awaiting entry. KIRBY is through. this will approach a billion dollars in a matter of days. Not to mention all the non commercial groups. I hope they get nailed to ground on this. Close their doors and go try a different line of work. Mcdonalds is hiring. As far as the chicken **** politicians go, if they're speaking they're lying.

                            • Shut em down!! Heck lets shut all shipping down - nothing good can come of it - and why not all of the trucking too - and no pipelines either. We dont need to move any of that stuff - this will solve All of our problems.
                              Shut up and FISH!!
