First insurance companies are no longer actuarials; under ACA they are now utilities.

Yeah, their shareholders were really risking losing money. Raising rates 10-15% a year and issuing good for nothing health policies and dropping policies or not covering a catastrophic claim and putting policy holders in bankruptcy.
They represent a big show!! Now the ACA is regulating them NATIONWIDE and making them treat their customers with respect and compassion. I do not feel 1 bit of sympathy for them.
The ACA will move our country forward and all these talking points will be forgotten.

And you are OK with that ?
Yes, I'm OK with that. The Feds attach strings to the money, and infringe on states rights.

Texas has a large population of illegal immigrants who would be adding to the cost burden of ACA. Why should we provide (pay with our tax money) these benefits to those illegals (and attract more illegals) that don't pay enough (or no) taxes?

The ObamaCare does not nationalize insurance-it merely creates more reasons to raise rates which generally are controlled by a gummint agency-think of P.U.C.-anytime Reliant asks for an increase, they get it, so who is really to blame? Gummint of course. If they kept their dumbazz hands out of bizness, the economy would be better off. Name one gummint run agency that isn't a farked up, bureaucratic nightmare? FEMA - nope, IRS-nope. Military-Nope, GAO-nope, USPS-nope. Just name one profitable gummint agency PLEEEZZZ. It's like the tooth fairy-such a thing doesn't exist. Gummint nowadays is nothing but a negative value workforce for the incompetent.

"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

The ACA will not insure any non legal immigrants.
However, if they go to the emergency room guess who pays ? And makes rates rise.
That's why any business or person hiring them and not self insuring them should pay up or be put in jail.
              They are constantly being exploited.

Now the unions support illegal immigration. Not in the workplace, but definitely in the polls. Did you mother ever have you tested?

My mistake, you are right, it's Medicaid that pays for illegals, in hospital emergency rooms. Still paid via tax money. Why expand a program that attracts illegals?

Also Boom is probably saying that the unions support amnesty for illegals, because unions can't easily organize illegals if their dues income is threatened by members being deported.

I support a waiting period like Issa introduced with acquiring a guest worker permit to remain here no longer than 6 years or obtaining legal immigration status. The permit would be required to be put back on the employer under penalty of prison.
The employer would also have to provide, medical, workers comp, and pay SS on all wages earned which would be obtainable after legal status is established. The burden would be on the employer.
Immigrants are not elegible for Medicaid. We all pay for ER treatment either by increased health insurance rates or the hospital increases their costs for services on everyone else.
Im all for immigrants becoming dues paying members represented by an agreement or contract, if they have the skills and training to do the work. They damn sure know how to work. But my overall opinion if a person is working for wages, its best to be organized and represented.
