Illegals and FSA scam the system by claiming children and low wages.
Hell, a lotta illegals claim dependents THAT DON'T EVEN REQUIRE FOR and snag huge freaking refunds. Many times MORE the. They even paid in! My child REQUiRED a SS number as an infant!
FSA are experts at gaming the system and getting all manner of freebies while working for cash under the tables.
In the end they come out without actually paying a dime.
Me? I get slammed for $20k a year just in income taxes.

No they don't-YOU ARE WRONG!! I suggest you check out the IRS and how they PAY OUT more to Illegals than ILLEGALS pay in. Most do not even file returns and are paid cash by your neighbor for her maid or yardman or handyman. The illegals that do file are entitled to claim entire villages (almost) as dependent family members and how does the IRS check to see that Gilbert really only has 5 kids in Acuna when his return says he has 15 kids in Acuna-Gilbert does not have to furnish SSN for his "children" in Acuna since they are Mexican Nationals and are not issued SSN by the SSA, so when Gilbert files his 1040 and claims 15 kids, he gets back almost double what he paid in. It is advantageous to be an illegal alien in the USA. You can get free medical care at any hospital, you get more money back in taxes than you paid in, you can get government housing, welfare, disability and even vote since no ID is required. Sheeit, I'm changing my name to Barack Onyango and claiming I'm from Kenya and maybe move to Boston for the fresh Lobster I can buy with my SNAP Card and move next door to Obama's Aunt Onyango. I'll slip and fall on my drawn butter for my lobster dinner and get disability also!! Life is farging great for Illegals!!

As far as paying taxes, I'm on SS and retired and still pay taxes. My 90 year old mother drawing what little she gets still has to file on income tax and never gets it all back. All Americans in some form or fashion pay taxes.
Meanwhile the top US companies don't pay any and the wealthy pay very little with their tax breaks.

Even Romney only paid 15% which is my rate and his income was on bank account interest only.

We maintain our freedom by paying taxes and help Americans when they need help. I do not see any reason to be upset about helping.

BTW, he also gave away a sheetload of money to charities (much more than the book writer, racist POS named Obama)-ya gonna beotch about that also because ya think the Gummint should be solely in charge of giving out free crap like phones and now High Speed Internet, plus food and housing and medical? 20k pages of regulation! How the hell can anyone enforce that? I was on the fence at first, but I am backing away quickly. States should be able to dictate their healthcare system, not the Feds. Let states compete for population. If Mass or Comifornia wants to have an ACA then go for it. People who want it can move there. What we have will be worse then the fkn Canadian system, which is increasing in cost 2x the rate of food! Even the Japanese model, that is looked as the "best" is seeing soaring costs that will be on par with the US by 2020 (forecast). Taking competition out of the market will drive mediocrity in terms of service AND raise costs.

Not to mention the HUGE disservice this does to generations of low come families. Why in the hell will they be motivated to better their life's when they are getting hand outs. And what motivates me to work harder to become a 1%'r if I know that much more of the money I earn, by many times being away from my wife and kids is just going to disappear from my statements? I almost threw my chair against the wall when I saw how much was taken out of my bonus check.

THE ONLY people I have sympathy for are:

Texas has turned down Billions in Medicaid help which is OUR tax money and became one of 27 states that the ACA would have helped much more. Texas has the highest percentage of uninsured citizens in the nation and mostly women and children.
So, so much for letting states regulate the insurance mess.
Japan and Canadian citizens get better care and live longer than Americans and spend less per capita on health care than the good ol USA. Do some DD and compare real facts instead of Fox news and the TPer's.
Unless you have been in the poors shoes you do not have a clue about disservice to them.

Romney has said that the Mass. plan is specific to that state and advocates that the states should have control over how they would administer (or even have) this kind of thing.

Why is it that there are so many out-of-state plates seen in Houston (and Texas)? We're an attractive state (economically) to move to, we're rich in opportunities for the very ways that you are against. Why you would want to change success and create another Detroit is just plain, well, twisted.

If you have the 1% pay more, where do they get that money from? Your pocket.

Sounds like you need to check the tax rates also from the last 50 years.
AND wages were more in line with inflation and cost of living.
Our embarrassing governor turned down OUR tax monies to play politics with Medicaid. Over 100 billion in the next 10 years that would have given insurance coverage to our high number of uninsured poor. Mine and your tax money.

Im still doing DD on the Detroit fiasco and who's really to blame.
Houston and Texas has the energy principle here. And at one time most of the chemical and refineries were union. Wages were high and so were benefits.
Corporations are in business for the stock holders and employees are considered a liability. I may be twisted but believing big business is a wonderful thing creates a gaulded mind.
