if they wanted to fix the health care they should have reformed medicade, medicare & open up free trade with the insurance companys ... people already qualify for those programs ... there is no reason to come up with a whole new program that effects everyone.


Obummer talks about paying your fair share .... ONLY 53% OF AMERICANS PAY TAXES ... that leaves 47% not paying to the system .... how am i not paying my fair share????????

I agree that is a dumb play. I would position it as a cost; tax, penalty what ever you want to call it. Typically tax's are classified on money spent or earned. Since no money is being spent (not buying healthcare), then it does lean more towards a penalty.

Hmmm... UPS, Fed-Ex, Emery Air freight, etc. isn't competing with USPS. See if they will deliver your letter across the country for less than a dollar. lmao. I don't want to get into calling names and other juvenile behavior but when we lose the post office and other government entities to privatization then we'll really have something to beetch about.

It's a horizontal monopoly. Stick a letter and your mail box and see if anyone but a government employee picks it up.

my dad was a double amputee ... he had no legs. he lost his first one when i was 3yrs old & the 2nd when i was 9yrs old. i grew up on social security & was pretty poor growing up. my dad past away back in 2000 ... trust me there is nothing i would love more than my dad to be here today & i think he could be here if his medical care was better. so i know first hand how this type of medical care works ... you think its going to be better with Obummercare.

i have done pretty well for myself since i graduated from high school ... all by myself no help from anyone ... i made sheet happen so i could live better.... dare i mention that i am part mexican too. so i was poor growing up & a minority. i had just as much hardship & troubles growing up as most people claiming they are being held down. they have had every oppertunity to better themselfs just as i did.

I appreciate the story and am glad you have done well for yourself. Again, I am simply asking for facts to help me in my research. I will assume since you did not provide any that they do not exist.

My stance is very simple on healthcare. Children should be taken care of. I am not worried about adults, we can fend for ourselves.

Sorry folks. It is a TAX-it is the largest TAX increase in history and that is a fact.

The trolling on other issues is smoke and mirrors-one issue is saying Big Oil gets "SUBSIDIES" is BS-they get TAX DEDUCTIONS not SUBSIDIES. Farmers get SUBSIDIES-the use of subsidies in reference to oil is a DEMOCRATIC FALSEHOOD!!!
