We be fishing for Obama fish! A/K/A bottom feeders that eat turds and think it's prime rib (or so they been told and believe it)."Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

Saying that here is about like going to a Philadelphia Eagle game in Philly, on a Monday night against the Cowboys; and wearing a Cowboy jersey and rubbing Eagle fans nose in it when Dallas is beating them.Originally posted by Termo View PostAll of you guys keep drinking the koolaid. Thanks for the info. Since the court upheld the Act, I am in process of reading it.Originally posted by Robalo View Posttidalguide: YOU ARE SORELY MISINFORMED AND APPARENTLY BELIEVE IT (HEALTHCARE) IS FREE-IT IS NOT FREE-YOU ARE REQUIRED TO BUY IT-PERIOD. Don't forget the employees at minimum wage-let's see, the average policy runs about $600-1700/month and you make minimum wage, so you must buy the insurance because McDonald's or whatever company would rather pay the penalty than provide coverage (providing coverage would almost double their employee expense/cost, so they will not provide the insurance and it is cheaper to pay a "fine" than pay for the insurance -which BTW, the employee is taxed on the amount the company pays for the insurance now under the new law and it is reported as income on your W-2), so Susie Jo making minumum wage must pay $600/month herself, plus her rent ($500), gas ($150), electricity ($100), cell phone ($90) and her monthly income is 40 hours per week at $7.25/hr x 4 weeks = $1160/month. Guess what, Susie Jo can't eat, drive or stay in an apartment-she now lives under the Pierce Elevated eating "Squab" for dinner.
Tidalguide-I don't know where you are coming from, but I think you fail to understand that forcing someone to buy insurance when they cannot afford it is absurd and Susie Jo will have some hard choices to make-should she starve to death, live on the streets or "obey the law"? What is your answer? Under ObamaCare, insurance is NOT FREE-YOU PAY FOR IT AND IF YOU DO NOT, THE IRS WILL FINE YOU!! WAKE UP.
Since you seem to be pretty well informed and have read it cover to cover can you please point out the sections of the act that:
1. Call out that health insurance must be purchased over food.
2. The minimum income level to qualify for the subsidized care.
This will help me in my research.

Interesting fact on Reagan, His tax hike in the early 80's was more then "Obamacare"...dumbassess out for hate when they disagreed with Reagan
On the same note, under Bush Jr in 2004, food stamp usage increased 65%...
I am not a democrat or a republican, but believe in doing right by people.

Here you go:Link please.....
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/fact-checker/post/spinning-the-supreme-court-ruling-on-obamacare/2012/06/28/gJQAuuou9V_blog.html
Here is the text:
"A 2006 Treasury Department study listed a tax increase passed in 1942 as the clear winner for the title of biggest tax increase — worth more than 5 percent of GDP. (Yikes, now that’s a tax increase. But the United States was fighting a world war at the time.)
The health-care law doesn’t even come close — 0.49 percent of GDP. That’s one-tenth the size of the 1942 tax cut. Essentially, the health-care law’s taxes are about the size of Bill Clinton’s 1993 tax increase and significantly smaller than Ronald Reagan’s 1982 tax hike. (Our friends at PolitiFact beat us to the punch on this, awarding “Pants on Fire” to Limbaugh, and they have all of the math, plus other statistics.) "
Info on food stamp increase:
"The program has also funded paid radio ads in California, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio and the New York metro area. The ads work: The USDA began promoting food stamps with paid radio ads in 2004, under President George W. Bush, and food stamp participation increased 63 percent."

The health-care law did include substantial taxes, such as an additional tax on investment income for the wealthy, but those were always disclosed and never hidden. The penalties it included for failing to get health insurance — which the Supreme Court has now labeled a tax — amounted to just about $13 billion a year, or $65 billion in the first 10 years of the law, according to the Congressional Budget Office and the Joint Committee on Taxation. (See Table 2.)
This is one of the problem the wealthy are suppose to pay more than there fair share. The other problem is gubermint keeps getting bigger and this will only grow gubermint.I'm a small gubermint guy.I LIVE IN A SMALL

Get the insurance companies, big oil, banks being bailed out of taxpayer pockets and you'll be able to afford the healthcare, groceries and mortgage on a 35,000 salary and fish all you want. If you are working minimum wage and struggling, my heart goes out to you. I'd rather pay for your food stamps than corporate welfare any day. Course I'm a Democrat. Hey I know what, lets spend 200 billion on a Mars expedition to find that red cheese. By the way, America works best when we say Union yes.

Yeah, I am with you there. But are we really supposed to let Kiddo's go with out health care because there parents are f***nuts? The other problem is gubermint keeps getting bigger and this will only grow gubermint.I'm a small gubermint guy.
My thought is this, free subsidized health care for every one below 18, limit 2 per household. Let adults fend for themselves.
