lmao! The tilt wheel should offer the best wheel position when sitting or standing. We had to mount it upside down to get the best placement when tilted. Kudos for noticing...I'm sure others may have been wondering why I posted the same pic 2 times.lol

            All of the above.

Obviously it would be easier to purchase a ready made boat, And probably cheaper, but where's the fun in that?? I love a good project. From conception to final product. To me, there is nothing more satisfying than being involved in the project process. Designing, planning, purchasing, fabrication and finally seeing/using the finished product. Normally, I tire of my finished products and quickly sell them so I can fund my next project, whatever it may be. This time may be a little different. I find myself becoming attached to this vessel and the concept of keeping it a long time. Fishing has become a passion of mine over the past several years and this boat may be able to take me to places I couldn't get to otherwise. With that being said, now I'll have to convince the wife that we really don't need our open bow ski boat anymore...wish me luck! lol

Looks like a 007 movie prop!

I think it would have been the coolest prop in the latest 007 movie. I really don't remember seeing anything cool in Skyfall.

Anchor light wired. Ran wiring along T-top rail, then inside t-top support to hide it.

Is the propeller blade (fan) on top going to be exposed? I think I read somewhere on 2cool that a gigging boat lost their blade. It broke off and landed in the water. No one was hurt. Some of these blades have a cage. Are you going to make one and add it for safety?

Being the General Manager for a $20mm production facility, Safety is always a high priority on my list. I recently replaced the old propeller with a new one, so I feel confident that it will be okay for some time. I will check it for cracks regularly. Overspeeding the fan is what usually makes them come apart. We plan to use it for slow going, so hopefully that is not an issue. With all of that being said, I had not planned to shroud it with a cage, but leave it open. That plan may change, but for the short term it will be exposed.

Man, I hate those kind of questions, because they always make me rethink my plans. Now I'll probably go ahead and cage it. Karma's a beach. If I don't cage it and it comes apart and hurts someone, I'll regret not doing it.

                              Safety first!

So, how Safe do you think this boat will be with 244 hp pushing it along? Myself, I'm looking forward to a few thrilling moment!
