Took David(fishclutz) and my neighbors son out to wade for some big girls on Sunday. Of course since I was fishing it was much windier than forecasted but not too bad. Got to the ramp and saw a few FWE'ers heading out with the pimp and they were heading out to the same general area we were so I was feeling good! Couldn't find my channel heading to where I wanted to go(have not figured out the GPS yet) so I had to wait for a little light. AP and the boys probably thought I was following them because I was looking for my channel and they came around and parked and hopped out. We went down quite a ways from them to where I couldn't see the boat so I am not sure how they did. I ended up with 3 keepers 16", 17" and 19" and a couple right at 15" that I let back. Tide was moving out pretty good and the water was beautiful. I did not get the big girl I was looking for but I found the spot I am going to catch her at this winter. It is a nice soft nasty mud spot that drops from knee deep water to over my head surrounded by some nice shell!! I caught one of the throwbacks and the 17 there. David and my neighbor both got skunked. Neighbor does not fish much at all and I think David forgot to shower or something. We were off the water at 11 so I could get home to catch football. Can't wait until the season is over so I can stay out longer.

had you not been telling me to try topwater i might have caught a few fish. The water was beautiful indeed... chest deep and could still see your feet.

Good job Homey! I was on the other side of the world from you......Was gonna fish Trinity but the wind and waves sent me North to Burnet Bay. It paid off with 2 nice slot reds to 25" and about a dozen tater-chip flounder.
I work just enough to pay for my fishing habit.

LOL I can't help it that the guys in the boat can't control it. Guess I just need to tie it off to the truck and do it all myself. David and my neighbor were in the boat and I figured they could handle it. By the way they were still a good 6 feet from AP's boat and the motor was not running.
