Remember I mentioned to Coe that I haven't registered my new Skeeter I bought in July. Well with Ike and all, been real busy and didn't register/pay sales taxes on it until yesterday. YOU HAVE 21 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE OR THEY PENALIZE THE HECK OUT OF YOU. Cost me an additional $160. Just an FYI based on experience!! Ouch-that would have bought a lot of beer!

By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. Boom:

Yep, while paying and filing the forms yesterday, they got my zip code wrong, so had to fill out two other forms to fix that while there (1 for boat and 1 for motor)-at least those forms were free (at least then).

Yup... I was 30 days delinquent with all the paperwork for my new rig... Cost me an extra $25.00 or something!

I planned on not registering mine for a while.... I don't go to the TPWD for registration.

But my seller dated the title when he signed it over.. No big deal though.. I don't have any dates on the transfer paper work so I'll just say that that's the way I got it!

Right down the road from me. They go to the court house for ya. Easy to deal with.

I think you can file a form that says the boat is out of service and they won't penalize you when you do go register it.

I went ahead and registered my boat 4 days after i got it to avoid paying the late fees. Be a good Samaritan guys and get it taken care of immediately. Oh this reminds me that i need to get a title on the motor I got with the boat two and a half weeks ago.
