Glenn: We mean the charter boat captians (at least that what I mean-the offshore captains, not the bay guides - although I know you do some offshore, but primarily work the bays).
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. maybe we should allow captains, it wouldn't be right if we didn't let TXWHALER22 fish this tournament

i am planning on fishing this tournament in the 17' montauk, the problem for y'all is that i wouldn't hesitate to take that boat out 30-40 miles to VA Fogg haha

I also agree with Robalo about the entry fee/calcuttas being cheap because of the high gas prices. It could be a 2-3 week tournament, and we could use the sea isle marina to report/weigh/verify our catches. It would be a good way to get all the FWE offshore nuts together for some friendly competition.

as for the tournament being rod'n'reel only...maybe we could make a spearfish division, i know Coe and Glenn likes to pop snappers with their spear guns

Glenn could fish it, I think we need to keep it below 28' LOA??????? I don't want to go up against some guy who can run 100 miles and be there in just over an hour lol.

              I only have one engine

I agree with that and I would be interested. As far as Captains go, you allow guides to fish the inshore T's should offshore be any different. There are some pretty good non-guide offshore fisherman I would be more worried about! LOL

What about limiting it to Friday - Sunday only?

I say we open door to everyone

I like the < 28' idea. No problem with Guides like Glenn, Greg and rest, except Billy Howell types that specialize in offshore (he wouldn't sign up likely anyway). With the less than 28', it would eliminate most offshore charter captains anyway.

That thing is a beast. I was impressed how it handled the surf at SLP that one day.

Line it up and we'll do it at the marina! Im thinking about how many weights we could stuff down Muddskippers offshore fish to insure a win.
