Dredge in Chocolate

Fished Chocolate today and saw them bring the dredge in.Sure wish they would have waited 'til summer it's just about time for Chocolate to turn on.

What is going on in chocalate. I saw them doing lots of work on the left side . Are they closing out a side of chocalate and for what reason? Anyone know was going.............

No big deal on the fishing. I'll just fish around them like I have in the past. They will be in the channel, won't hurt most of the shorelines. However, be very careful when navigating close to these dredging outfits. They will have those pipes scattered everywhere. In years past they have had alot of pipe running from the dredge to the dump site on the west side of the channel and most of the time these dredge pipes are poorley marked. Just use caution and especially in low light conditions and at night.

Aqua Pimp is right on the money the dredge operation won't hurt fishing at all. The navigation around the pipes in the water will be the only thing that is affected.Stay on the east side of the main channel going out and you'll be OK.
