They're all braced Coe. They're setting up nicely. I'm still out here, but I should be able to get pics up tonight. Everyone else, y'all post your pics. - SandyFrom 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

Wow y'all, I'm still blown away by all the folks that showed up to make everything work. The hard part is all over. I hope I was a good host for everyone and you got your fill of eats and drinks. Y'all kicked butt! It's so cool seeing it all coming together. Thank you all so much for everything.
Now the bad news for me: I left my laptop power supply at the camp. So I'm on this ancient computer that takes 30 minutes to even log onto the net. Sooooo I don't think I'll be able to get my pics up, but I'll try. I see Bert just posted a video, can't wait to watch it.
Next week I've got Thanksgiving vacation, so I'll head out around noonish on Saturday and stay out 'til Tuesday or so. If anyone wants to come out, just lemme know. We'll be framing up the gen shed. From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

I had a great time. It was a nice break from all the fishing I've been doing. Wade left Saturday morning going home. (6 hr drive)
He called me before noon on Sunday and wanted to know if it was alright if he came back for another week. LOL!!! He just can't get enough of this flounder fishing. He is going back home again next Saturday and Meme will be coming down on Sunday. I'll try and slip over there and help you some this weekend. Do I need to bring a ladder or any thing? I've got quite few carpenter's tool in the pickup.Children are pieces of our heart running around outside of our body.

Hey Bert,
Do you remember eating the cheviche? You walked over and looked at it, picked up a cracker and a spoon and loaded the cracker up. You stood there staring across the bayou and savored every bite. Then you picked up the bowl and spoon and ate it all. LOL!!!' It was funny as ale. You never said anything but, I assumed you liked it really well. I took it as a compliment anyway. Fortunately, everyone had eaten.
Till we do it again,

That would be great Wayne. We have 2 ladders, so I don't think that's an issue. Great that Wade is coming back. LOL. He can't get enough. Would love to have you and your wife out for Sunday supper if that works out.
Oh yeah, I don't know if Bert remembers it, but I do. That ceviche was AWESOME!From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

Yes I remember a little, Wayne.
I haven't made any in years and yours was as good if not better than mine. I too make it with shrimp.
Raw oyster's, Ceviche, good company made it epic.
I think I can speak for us all when I say, "We look forward to you're next Flounder Vacation."http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBLbrJxGtro
Not that much different than a Karankawa indian hunting the shallows at night with a torch and a spear.
