hi guy's
this is the Special Edition BillyStiX & FWE Rod? that i was telling you about,
it is a proto type rod it can be built in many ways full grips, split grips, hypalon grips, titanium guides, stainless steel guides, or these that are on it regular black, but all guides will have the blue ring's.
this is the official west end rod as best i understand it from coe, i have had some folks that want a rod with a little less flash this is it, but if you want the billystix built normal ,no problem, i am going to be looking at another blank for the upcoming season, this blank was one that i had on hand and it is a great blank, it is a little fast perhaps but remember i can get what ever you want, so when you see this rod don't just say "oh it's to !!!!!" what ever just remember it's just a proto type just so you can get some idea and we can go frtom there, hope you like and please give me your feed back, if you want more shots just let me know, i have the decal ordered that say's the following.

That rod looks good Billy and that fast action is something I like. I don't know what the guys like over in Florida but Medium Fast on a 6'6" is just what I'm talking about!

yes coe you are correct that is a good blank, because it will work soft bait's as well as top water baits, as you know with a top water bait you need for the bait to react with the tip and if the tip is to soft the bait has a delayed reaction to the wrist comand so therefore the bait is not doing what your mind is telling it to do, so the proprer rod is kinda nice to have in use.
i will be doing the finish work on this sometime the last of the week and i will try to get it to you first of november.

i am currently working on one for the january tourney this is going to be a split grip very"similiar" but not exact as the one for the club meeting, this one is going to have eva hyplon grips and so far it's looking pretty good, i will most likley make these 3 different colors because i believe coe and i have settled on red,white, blue for this rod that i have just completed, but any one can order any color they want.

it's a shame you passed me up, and you most likley paid a good bit more as well.i just today talked with my supplier about aquireng some blanks a little lighter than some that i had, but you have to be careful because lighter mean's less!!and less could result in breakage, not alway's but could.
