I will put registration up at the end of this month. This is just an announcement about the tournament and to publicize the date so other tournaments hopefully avoid our already chosen date.

you guy's need to give me a call and let me build you a nice new spiral before this tourney comes up, just today recieved my new "texas flounderstix"
decals they are bad to the bone ,i am telling you one thang, i dont play when it comes to getting these type thing's done they look as good as the
"westend angler's " decal and that my friend is a bad to the bone decal, it cost a lot of buck's to do these thing's and i do them for yall and yes for billystix custom rods as well but what i am trying to say i go the xtra mile to give you ""custom"" just look at any rod i build and you will see what i am talking.and i now have some bad to the bone blanks. plus all billystix custom rods come with titanium guides ,not coated but full frame and towards the last of the month i will be the only rod builder who has low profile titanium guides with electric blue rings not just crap ring's but the good one's for braid
i will try to get a couple of photos later.

We moved the date back one week. Sorry guys I just got off the phone with Lynn who does the Trout tournaments and I did not want to conflict with the spectacular or whatever they call it. Our tournament date is now set for January 29, 2011. Please update your calendars.

almost finished with rod #1

hi guy's
i have rod #1 for the january tourney almost complete, i should be able to complete it wed, if i can i will post up a couple photos for your viewing pleasure, now i only have 2 more to go.
this one turned out pretty sweet, used hologram guides on it and put a slit grip out of eva foam but i made it my self so it will be a bit better than factory because of the size of the grip.

Jan 29 is one week away from the Super Bowl in Cowboy Stadium and everybodys going to be so geared up about watching Dallas in the Super Bowl that...oh wait a minute

I don't think I'm going to go for this since I'm such a newbie. When should someone even consider entering a tournament? I've really only been fishing for about 4 months and I know I'm not that good.
Also, If you've mainly been fishing alone, how do you find a partner?
