Good on you... But it amazes me with the technology out they did not have a cell phone or a VHF. Thats crazy to go out without 1 of those items. Or atleast have a float plan.

im glad you helped them; but how in the hell do you get stranded right there for that long? Thats akin to taking out an infant and letting it swim on an intertube at SLP on a strong outgoing tide.

Good for you. I broke down in Jones once and had no less than 5 boats keep going when I was waving my tee shirt, the cowling was off and we were poling thed boat. I saw one ahole even turn his head the other way, so it really doesn't surprise me that no one stopped, especially on the way GOING OUT. Can't believe they didn't have a cell phone or a float plan...maybe they learned a lesson???
