  • Rainy Weekend

So we spent a good two hours Saturday AM drinking beer on the piling & under the bridge at FM 2004... Rained all day basically... Sunday going home I had to detour from Pirates, ran to the corner store then back to the house to grab the dog food I left. As I'm leaving I see the storm pushing across the gulf... 30+ mph winds, sideways rain boat & truck were going sideways... People stopping on FM 3005. I was honking and flashing my lights for the idiots to get out of the way. Pushed through the thick stuff & found that 1/2 of FM 3005 had stopped on sea wall with flashing lights... Pushed on and didn't stop until I had reached Home Depot. notice the boat was full of water so I pulled off before going up 45. Found an obstruction (piece of plastic) blocking the drain plug, removed it and continued off the Island. By this time I was ahead of the storm and it was now moving across West Bay. Hope nobody got caught in that! I exit highway 6 and start towards TXSHOCKWAVE's place in Alvin. So I'm going down 6 and now going back through the storm I pushed through leaving the Island. Rain & winds start to come I caught the tail end allowed it to move ahead of me slightly. Dropped off a part at TXSHOCKWAVE's and ran up 288 back to Houston. Caught the same storm on 288 and then again on I-10 right after I put the boat up.

Seems the rain is following me

Why I don't know what you're talking about Coe. The weathermen all said it would be sunny all weekend.

I also blasted my horn-some folks apparently never seen a waterspout before and pulled over on 3005 to watch it-if they were "turkeys" they'd be dead-drown from looking up at rain anfd wondering WTH that dropping water is. I dint even drop the boat in the water, on Friday night caught 9 keeper trout off the deck and killed about 20 (silver bullets).

It is "idiot driver week"-it started last friday and ends when the dummycrats get their butt whipped and BHO is gone from office. Too bad it's called "Idiot Driver Week" when in fact it's pretty much all year long, but think of it like BHO's promises-pure lies and BS so why not call a year a week's time? Makes sense to me once ya apply the "Obama Factor".
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

Me, Donna and a Neighbor got caught in Chocolate during that storm. It was crazy!! Found cover at the enterance of Halls and we still decided to fish off the dock and caught several dinks. We finally got a small window and headed back to Terramar, but got dumped on again right when we pulled into the canal. Not fun at all!
