  • Didn't waste any time...

After finding out about the rod raffle last night, I got with Billy this afternoon. I really don't do too much inshore fishing so I asked Billy to upgrade to a 6'6" jigging sprialstix and he is going to be making me what sounds like one helluva rod, in his own words, its gonna be an "amberjack a**kicker". The whole process only took about 15 minutes and couldn't be easier......can't wait to see the new STIX

not sure that we talked about the same style jigging stix that you and i have talked about in the past, if i remember correctly you had wanted or had already one or 2 of the new version stix that bend,s in the middle they call those "noodle jigs" the type i am going to build is going to have a bit more arss with a little tip so that while jigging when he hit's you can move his head and not just stand there with a bent rod rod saying "oh my god what do i do now " ,i have built those and there is a place for those but when you call to get something like this built you want to be sure both parties are in the same boat this is why i spend the time on question and answer so that i can assure that i know what my customer wants because when it's built it's to late and either one can be the wrong one.
              just a little rod knowldge.
