I'm headed down to Galveston Friday for the first time since probably July 4th weekend... Yes it's been TOO long! Anyways giving up the Teal hunting for the weekend and going to try & put a fraternity brother of mine on some fish. Anyone going to be down? Want to link up for a drink at West End Bar?

With that storm coming off the coast of Cancun, I would think about hitting the surf for some bull reds! Once the surf get rough again, it will be on! Right now the surf is flat and green, but I have not fished it. Might try this evening.
I am up for a drink or two on Friday if you want to hook up. Saturday, we have a fundraiser to attend.

I'm scheduled to go down for chores (including a door hanging, yee-haa), so should be able to break away and fish the surf from near the house. X2 on what Jerry said. My neigbhor was killling the reds along the east/northeast shoreline in Chocolate. If the tide is up, I would try that. As for the south shoreline, the coves we hit recently have been holding lots of bait. PM me and I will tell you which cove Donna and I hit on Saturday and nailed them.LIVIN THE SALT LIFE Comment
