just dropped my costa del mar 580 shades and they cracked/spyder webbed on the left lense. anyone had this happen? if so what did they give you on the warrenty?
thanks,
taylor
do a search on 2 cool, they have alot of info on costa repair. if you have a receipt w/in the last year they should replace them. they have a pretty good warranty. the hard part is going a few weeks without them.
michelle
the warranty only covers manufacturers defects, such as lenses peeling and things of that sort. I cracked one of mine it was $80 after it was all said and done, including shipping. Not too bad for $189 shades

GOD BLESS AND GIG'EM!
I hope I catch a 10 lb trout before I catch a flesh eating bacteria.
Go to thier web site and fill out the work order and send the printed copy in with your glasses. In about 4 to 5 days they will send you an email for you to call them. They will tell you what it will take and cost to fix them. I send in probably two pairs in a year and have never been disappointed. Make sure when you fill out the work order you tell them what happen. I'm sure you will get a new pair for under $50 buck maybe even cheaper.
thanks guys and girl haha once i get home from the slp rv park tomorrow ill get into contact with them. it sucks i just bought them about 3 weeks ago and dropped them more than my last pair i had for a year lol. i dont mind paying around $80 or so for a new pair.
Only 3 weeks ago? hope they just replace at no charge for ya.....dang we coulda hooked up yesterday. I was at the beach near the blue water tower till about 7pm, oh well
stingray: ya only 3 weeks lol and i had work yesterday and i going away party from work at 7 but text me next time. i got a new phone since the last time we fished so i dont have your number
its well worth the extra 20 bucks they are great!!
Hey troutchaser,
I know it's fashionable, but try not wearing your new glasses on your hat, and put a leash on 'em so you won't ever drop them again. A leash is $5. and that's a heck of a lot cheaper in the long run......
Good Advice Kenny! I lost a pair about a month and a half ago. just fell off when I was walking out. Didn't even notice until I was back at the truck! The "Leash" is good!
wearing your glasses as a necklace when you arent wearing them on your face is the best thing ever. after i started using a leash i havent lost or broken one single pair.
