Fishihng with the Corndog

Well me and my Son hit it yesterday with the Corndog and had a good day; I could not believe my son wanted to be out in the heat instead of the Xbox. The tides are low so we waited them out and managed to box four reds and two trout. We will be back at it today in the Ugly Muddha if you see us wave us down!

Man, that's awesome! I'm so glad the old Mudda went to Corndog. He's certainly usin' her for the intended purpose. I don't think she was happy hauling stuff all the time and never fishin'. Very cool spots on that red!

Yep Sandy she is a fishing vessel now, like Corndog said the days of the dump truck are over. Her fish count is way up now!

That little red will be a future side pot winner!! The best part of that trip was seeing Lurefishers son catch his first keeper red. He has the fishing bug now!! BTW I have it on video and will post it soon. There aint nothing better than being there to see em with their first fish/deer. He lost a really nice trout and another red before he landed that one. Glad to be there with him for this occasion. I could live the rest of my lie and never catch a fish or kill a deer as long as I have a kid there getting the chance to experience the thrill. Way to Go Hunter you the man!!!!!!!

Hey now, she wasn't always a garbage skow. In her time the Anudda Ugly Mudda brought in countless fish. Before Ike anyway. I took her home to La. 6 times. I'm guessing, but I think her take was about like this there: 1400 trout. 100 reds. 40 flounder. Sheepshead, white trout, channel mullet and drum? Countless. Anybody thinks those numbers are outta line, that's 4 years and 6 trips to La. with 6-8 day trips for each one, plus several multi day camp trips. 25 trout a person, 5 reds, etc. We always caught the trout limit and usually caught the red limit. The Sportsman's Paradise was good for her. Never did so well here, but she had her decks slimy. Well, all that was before Ike. Since then the poor girl did her duty. Now she gets what she deserves. Good job Ray!
