is wondering why we are charged so much to fish around galveston bay complex...when you can go offshore at a much lesser rate..

  • #2
How do you figure you can go offshore for much less?

explain that one, Id love to know that.

I charge $400 for a half day trip and 500 for a full day trip for 3.

I dont know anyone who guides offshore that charges less than $1200 and that is without fuel.

A party boat is not a guided trip. check the rate on a guided offshore trip.
If you find one for less than $1000 give us all his # lol.

Rodney, from reading some of your previous posts, you seem to be fairly new to salt water fishing. Spending $500 would be a cheap investment for you to learn about it. Get some buddies together and hire one of the good guides here like Aqua-Pimp and Texxan1. Tell them what type of fishing you want to do, and the areas you want to learn, and I'm sure they can help you out.

                              Hey Rod,
Steve was trying to be helpful and give you good advice about hiring a bay guide. If you want to go offshore pay your $75. and go on a head boat.
