          Prayers sent but what are you doing allowing a toddler to walk to the waters edge unassisted?

          This is just tragic.

          We read all the time about grown men being sucked out and ending with the same fate. The young toddler never had a chance in those swift currents.
          We are West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe!

            i was at the slp rv park when it happen. pretty sad but letting a todler go off by himself where its dangerous to be in the water is stupid.

              Very sad indeed. Twin toddlers drowned in the family pool last week. Drowning is a major cause of childhood fatalities, and sadly can almost always be prevented.

                      my 4 year old can swim and there is no way she goes out in the water without us and always wears a life jacket if we go to the beach.

                        The mother sent her child to wash his hands in the surf? wtf? I had my 2 year old in the water at slp earlier this year but no deeper than 5 inches of water and I was right there next to her.

                          My 3 1/2 year old grandaughter has a childs life vest she wears anywhere close to the water.Sad story.

                            I saw that this morning on the news, it is amazing how parents do not pay attention to signs or their children!! Actaully it makes me mad as hell!!
