You may be able to drop it off on your way in and pick it up on the way out of Houston. He built me a brand new one last week in about 2 hours. Tell him "Dirt" sent ya!
I work just enough to pay for my fishing habit.

thanks dirt. i took it off and straightened it out myself w/ a great big wrench. it's not perfect, but pretty good. i should get him to make me a custom and use it as a spare.

If they are not to busy, they should be able to turn it around in a few hours. I have taken several props to them and it has been anywhere from 2 hrs. to 3 days. I would call them 1st and see waht they can do.
Why put off doing something today, when you can do it again tomorrow. LIKE FISHING!!

If Louie can't fix it one one day, he may have one you can borrow. He gave me three different props to try when I was in the market for a new prop.

Heck Michelle, I can come by and pick your prop up to take over there if necessary. I'll even leave you my kayak so you don't "Jones Lake out"... I need to take mine over there to get some more cup put in anyways.

Exactly, I wouldn't run that prop. You'll be doing more damage to much more expensive parts!

Get the prop fixed right. Louie sometime's has prop's at the shop that someone may want to sell and you could pick one up as a spare. You never know when you may need a spare, believe me, I know and it's happen more than once. Also, pick up a spare prop nut kit to keep in the boat. You never know when this may happen to you:

that's good to know patrick. i think i'll go ahead and order a custom one from him. maybe he'll send it to dockside for me. i bent one blade up about 1.5 inches and was able to straighten it out. the engine killed when it happened so i guess that's why it was only one blade. i was chasing a redfish busting up some bait in one of the side canals of harborwalk.

                        Michelle,
Make sure you check out your lower unit real good; shaft, seals...

When I "dinged" my prop, the prop shaft was bent and the seals were gone.
I hope yours is not that bad but check it just in case.
