Settle this argument between myself and two of my "Professional Tide Guru's". If your fishing Cold Pass, and go by SLP High Tide- We'll use this Friday- H. 5:17am. Then go by Christmas Bay High Tide- 10:13am. When is the High Tide for Cold Pass. We have 3 different answers, loser buys bait & cleans fish.

Tide Chart-SLP to Christmas

Unpossible to tell.
IMO, various tidal charts use different criteria for calculating tides.
One may say 08:10am, the next 10:00am for the same location.
The numbers are an approximation at best.
In your scenario the tide is going to start moving into X-mas as soon as it starts moving into SLP. Cold Pass isn't that large so its gonna peak before X-mas but not by much.West End Anglers - You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

I agree with Moonpie. I always notice the tide is "close" to projected, but often off by quite a bit, sometimes an hour or greater.
But, If I were to project the Cold Pass tide, I would use SLP over Christmas. really, I would take the two and cut it in half, but I bet the tide would be on the half closer to SLP than Christmas. A lot of water moves out of SLP very quickly and it sucks straight out of Cold Pass and West Bay. Christmas will be a little behind, but not terribly far IMO. Good luck.
