A group of people came to Cow Wreck today. One of them had emailed me a month or so ago, telling me that he has a guided bonefishing trip tomorrow and wanting to know if I would like to come along. I told hem that I would. So, when they showed up here this afternoon, I asked if he wanted to go see if we could catch a tarpon. Of course he did.
We went to the same spot that I landed to poon at on fly last Thursday. The bait ball is still there, and the tarpon are still feeding on it.
It turns out that he is not a strong caster, so I waded out into the bait ball. The tarpon were busting all around.
