June 23rd, @ BR's...lot's of cool pictures.

Because I am injured Sandy Picked me up at the ramp and I spent the night at the camp with him and his dad, Victor.
We had a few drinks and a excellent Jambalaya that included home grown tomatos, peppers and flounder filets along with the usual chicken and sausage.
Straight up, it was dang good but for some reason, everything at camp always seems dang good.
Can anyone ID this moth. 2 of them came out around 10pm and fluttered around the porch. It had a wing span of around 6" and it actually landed on Sandy and bit the fire out of him!

Sandy got a 70th anniversary Daisy Red Ryder for his birthday from me. I had more fun with it than he did but I think it will turn out to be fun for everyone...keep it wiped down with a little oil, Sandy!

Cisco explored everything. It was Cisco's first boat ride and camp trip. He behaved well holding his water and poop through the night as we slept, for the marsh in the morning...Goooooood Doggie!

Thanks all for the compliments on my pictures...it's not hard to take a good picture when the subjects are great.

Willie, I'm sorry to hear about you're water pump and the chair was comfortable. I have one a lot like it but its actually a little better as it has a pillow that can be employed and the fabric from the chair runs from the seat all the way to the feet but it dosen't have a mesh bag for small stuff like yours.

To the last poster...Yes, make no mistake, it is a huge nocternal moth. I was there when it bit Sandy. The wierd thing is it has it has a large curled up probiscus just like a butterfly. The only thing I can think is it feeds on carrion and such and uncurls it probiscus to use like a sponge to suck fluids from dead and living things because nothing else makes sense to say one was bitten by a moth. I'd really like to know exactly what this moth was. I have a few more good pictures of it if it can help you ID it, I'll post more pictures of it for you.
