McCrystal is a great leader but like Patton, he ran his mouth too much. But he is no Patton.

Have you actually read the Rolling Stone article? I have a few times and can hardly recognize anything he said as publicly trashing the potus. We need more commanders that have old school substance and grit like Gen. McCrystal.

Yes it does look bad but have faith in the Constitution. The Roman Empire did not have a Constitution.

Next year we will have a conservative congress and we will start to move up to the top again.

If I'm wrong, then screw it. Let's get drunk and go fishing.
Carter was an AMERICAN born and raised and though he wasn't a very good president, he wasn't out to change our current form of government to socialism. Carter was also a God fearing Christian, not a muslim that is all to quick to tell every country in the world that we are sorry.

Carter was not the best, but I'd take him over Obama any day!

The way Obama and his crew feel we don't have a Constitution either. They are continuing to find ways to circumvent the very fiber of the greatest document ever written. Each and everyone of us are to blame for letting it come to this without taking a stand. That document, the Constitution gives us the right to stop this mess, but we have grown soft in the past 100 or so years and forgot what it really means to be true Americans. There are still a few brave men and true Americans out there and General McChrystal was one of them, but the liberial/socialist machine will crush individuals that take a stand, we have seen this over and over in history. The next step and the future of your country depends on each and everyone of us. If we sit idly by and only B1tch and Moan, then we deserve what we get!!!!!

You know I'm all for what the General said about Obama!!!!! We are in the worst of times with this guy trying to be a President. Change oh boy he is creating change alright!!!!!!! We are screwed and HOPEFULLY when its time to vote again he won't be re-elected and it won't take someone else to undo his 4 years of damage!!!!!!! I didn't agree with alot of what GW did either BUT he was in all definition a PRESIDENT!!!! Obama has got to be the biggest joke there ever was!!!!!! We the USA isn't ready for a black president nor or we ready for a woman president!!! I'm not racist BUT this guy is ridiculous and making us look like idiots and for that reason I have issues with him.
The General has just said things that someone else was afraid to say and power to him!!!!! (by the way, has anyone noticed how much greyer Obama is since he took office????) I think the saying is true if you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen.......

Voting is a means, but you first have to have someone worth voting for and these professional politicans will likely give us the same results. They are less concerned with what is right for the country and it's people, then they are of lining their pockets with money.

The Constitution needs to be reinstated as the Law of the Land. What do you think it will take to make this happen????????????

                Whoa Whoa Whoa.

I served as an officer in the United States Army. An Army officer has an obligation to the President, especially a General officer. The Rolling Stone Author hung out McChrystal. But a General should never be insubordinate to the President or his chain of command and not be expected to be held accountable.

                I don't like Obama.
I agree with a lot of what Gen. McChrystal said
McChrystal broke the rules and was held accountable.

On my other post. I am not going to give up my belief that things can be better after Obama. I believe that after Obama, America will rebuild. I'm not going to accept the notion that America is over and I will do what ever I can to ensure that it is better for my kids that what I inherited from my father.

I'm not going to debate who sucks more. I would get carpul tunnel syndrom writing what all carter did to the US. HE WAS WEAK! He gave away the panama canal. He turned the first of many dominoes that got us where we are today.

All Democrappy Prez's have sucked-Kennedy=Viet Nam; Carter =Windfall Profit tax on oil only-although AT&T surpassed Exxon's profits, but that was OK-after all it was a gummint regulated utility effectively; Clinton=Mortgage rules loosening so every poor credit rated deadbeat could buy a house they never could afford, which ultimately caused the economic meltdown of today-basically was first Domino to fall. BHO-well, we know-a socialistic ACORN gummint leech draining wealth and giving it to slugs and crackheads.

yes GWB was a poor prez, and doubled national debt while in office, but BHO has now quadrupled what GWB took 8 years to double, Hussein only took 18 months to QUADRUPLE it.

BHO got elected by rallying the welfarites and ignorant and unifying the young libs. It won't happen again. Too many of the duped young folks now realize what BHO left them-MASSIVE DEBT and are discouraged and hopefully vote a more conservative minded, middle of the road type. I'm conservative, but certain beliefs I have do not mix with the far right-we need more middle road thought and we don't need Palin-she needs to silently go away and a new conservative with brains should be found; otherwise the HAIC* will win again if the Repubs put her out there.

11/2012 cannot come soon enough-heck, this November ought to hog-tie the POS, err, POTUS I mean.

*: Means Head Azzholey In Charge
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

I was also in the military and the Oath I took was as follows:

I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

Now from what I take from this is that I would defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and Domestic!

I feel and I know there many others that feel only orders given by the POTUS that are within the bounds of the Constitution are lawful. Like I said earlier, it is a fact that for the past 139 years Presidents have been circumventing the Constitution. Some more than others and the one we currently have may be the worse, but Lincoln would give him a run for his money. Funny how NObama likes to draw connections between himself and Lincoln..........

I think maybe we should disinter James Buchanan and set what's left of him in the oval office. As one of the historically attributed worst presidents, his qualities today might be more adept, compared to the current administration. He was the president before Lincoln and watched while the Confederate States congealed. Maybe CoachLaw would agree.
At his baptism, Sam Houston was told his sins were washed away. He reportedly replied, “I pity the fish downstream.” - Nov. 19, 1854 - Independence, Texas

I'll go out on a limb and say that though most historians look at Buchanan handling of the secession of southern states as a failure, it was far more correct and within the bounds of the Constitution than that of Lincoln!

Buchanan is given a bum rap, and it's unfair. He did what he was Constitutionally allowed to do regarding secession, NOTHING. We all know what Lincoln did and how he wiped his arse with the Constitution morning, noon, and night.

A list of my 5 worst presidents in History

                              1. Lincoln
                              2. F.D.R.

                              5. Obama
Your wild card is U.S. Grant.

                              Best 5?

                              1. George Washington

                              5. Dwight D. Eisenhower
From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."
