  • Who dropped off the Lone Star beer in my boat???

OK West Enders, which one of you dropped by my house and threw 4 EMPTY Lone Star beer cans in my boat. I have a feeling it was Willie and Sandy, because I know how much he like that Lone Star!

Anyway, Donna said next time leave one of them with beer in it

I used to drink it in college-was like $3.75 a case in returnable longnecks, but Shiner Bock was $4/case, so when I had that extra 25 cents I splurged on Shiner Bock!!

BTW, no Coors of any kind was sold within hundreds of miles from here back then (that was for you youngbloods).

Why whatever are you talking about Mike? I can't believe you would insinuate that people of such high character as Willie and I would do such a thing.

Now, since I can see you never read it, here's my post from that day:

Williep showed up this mornin' in his Pathfinder. We did some front porch sittin' and he took me on a run to show me how to get into West Bay. We intentionally desecrated a board member's boat on our trip. When we got back to the camp, he helped me put the railing up on the port side of the camp. THANKS WILLIE! He also brought his patented fried chicken wings, which put my boil to shame. FlatoutFishin' was supposed to come out tonight, but he ended up being a total Nancy. He's supposed to come out tomorrow. The sunset the last few nights has been exquisite! I had about 50 -70 crabs in my traps today. BUMPER CROP! I sent over 40 of them off with a friend. Don't know if I'll be back on for the trip, but I'll give a full report with a few pics when I get home.

Dad is coming in from N.O. on Saturday through Friday. Hope some of y'all can make it out to meet and hang with him. - Sandy
From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."
