keeping bait alive

in my area there are no places to buy live mullet or croakers . some times you can get live shrimp and or mud minnows but evan that supply is not reliable . all that said do any of you fellow fisherman catch live bait the day before a trip and if so how do you keep them alive?? thanks in advance for all advice. kenny.

Alot of guys are using the oxygen bottles. Texxan1 (Capt. Thomas Barlow) on this site can hook you up with one, he makes and sell thems. I actually picked mine up from him today.
