hey folks just found the site and i like what i see. i am a regular guy that likes to hunt and fish and throw a cold adult beverage in there every now and again. i am also a member of the Galveston County Fair and Rodeo and have been working hard on our latest project which is a hunting fishing and outdoor show which will take place on June 26-27 2010.

thanks for the welcome. our show will be June 26-27 2010. we have vendors from some of the local rod makers, santa fe archery, flounder pounder, texas yamaha, Ron hoover rv and boats, Academy and others. i believe right now we are at 33 vendors. the admission is $5 for ages 16 and up and 15 and under are free. we will have a few booths for the ladies so that the guys that bring wives that dont fish will be able to look at stuff for them as well. we are a first time show so we dont know what to expect but hope we have a good turn out. if anybody would like to get a booth it is not to late to do so and i have all the info that is needed on a email that i would be more than happy to send to you. we are of course short on fishing guides because of the fact that we are having the show in prime fishing season this year. next year we will have the show at a different time of year. i am open to any ideas or suggestions that anyone thinks will help make the show a hit.Comment

the 2nd annual jeff Wyers memorial fishing tournament will be going on that Saturday. for those who didnt know Jeff he was a Galveston Police officer who was killed in a motorcycle accident back in 2008. Jeff was head of security for our organization and was a heck of a nice guy. i dont have the info on the tournament because that is another committee over the tournament but you can find the info on www.galvestoncountyfair.comComment
