  • New West End Restaurant!

There's a new restaurant that just opened at 13 Mile Rd. beach access 16.
It's in the old convenience store that now has a red tile roof. Outdoor bar, indoor bar and hopefully good food. A very nice lady owns it, but I can't remember her name.
I ran into Randall from 21, that used to own Randall's at Pirates, at the bar. If he's involved it should be good. The chef is the one from Waterman's.
The menu is fixed pretty much for each day of the week, like Wednesday is Mexican, Thursday Italian, Saturday prime rib, etc.

Tried to eat there last Sunday night but got there too late. Looking forward to the restaurant in Sea Isle.

Yeah The restaurant at the marina is going to be good. I just want some places that actually buys and cooks real fresh food and not fried Syscos!

I saw this its on the beach side literally if you take Stewart down all the way until it hits FM3005 you'd go across and it would be on your left before the beach.

There is no exposure to them from FM3005. Hope they can stab a large enough sign at the main drag. Otherwise nobody will know they are there.

Hmmm, maybe Coe can hit them up for space on the website.

Selfishly, it's nice to know they are there. It's stumbling distance for us from Oleander.

ive been hearing "2 weeks" since last March...im bout to go into that Bobby Knight tirade after the Purdue game.

The f****** city of galveston is holding back on some permits because of minor, meaningless crap. i drive up and down 3005 and in the city and see dumps that are operating. Galveston is the most unfriendly business climate, beuarocratic(did i spell that correct?) garbage bullsheet ive ever seen and they wonder why nobody wants to come here to live, open up something etc.

read dolph tollitsons editorial in the GDN this am.

I know it will be up and running by the 4th and it shouldve been by june 1.
