This thread is to find out the biggest A hole of memorial day weekend. It will give us a chance to vent and have a good laugh. Please vote on the post you think deserve this prestigous honor. As I predicted. Guy plowing down the bayou making a 3 foot wake, waving at me like he was doing a favor slowing down to 1/4 throttle. I just screamed, "Look at your wake!" He looked back and I think a light bulb went on over his head. I will have to say that by and large, people were very courteous out there this weekend.From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. Guy pulled up next to me at the gas station with an 18 or 20ft shoalwater cat -- Being friendly i said " hey it looks like you going the same place we are" He said "doubt that" -- Still jokingly I said -- "hey maybe I'll follow you" he looked at me again and said "doubt that" --- about this time my brother in law pipes up and say's " hey you ever gonna stop being a douche bag --- doubt that!!!" The good part was he showed up at the ramp as I was leaving the dock --- by the time he passed me I already had a keeper red in the boat. Of course he blasted past me and threw a big wake over on me. Jerk!!Shut up and FISH!!Comment

There was a guy coming out of sea isle in a red Bay Stealth with rods on it that went right through 10 seagulls and 3 pelicans diving on fish!!Comment

While in Jones Lake one day, I was fishing with my Pals Kevin/Steve. We were at drift catching a few keeper Trout/Reds, we had notice a older gent at the back of a boat that showed signs of trouble some hundred yards away. We keep an good eye on him and was planning on helping out if needed. Another drifter that went right by him several times, started up and cut thru our drift to come tell us that fella needs a tow. Just so happen he was a guide, name not given.. this is a silent bashing right? Anyways, we said no problem. He repeated with a slight scream, Hey go help that old man! I think he is hurt and motor is down! So we put our poles down and fired up and went to him. Yes Sir he was hurt alright, bleeding like crazy and his motor had failed. We naturally more than glad to help and tow, two of us in his boat steering and tending this gent. He lived nearby @ Tiki so it was a short haul. The older man was so grateful and his son who came down to help get him out of the boat. He was near collapsing and still managed to give Thanks, offer $$ and his fish.. Which he had 3 nice slot Reds, No Thanks Sir. We want to go find that ***** Hole who left you and give him some Ju Ju, course he was no where to be found. We know who he be and this happen several years back ago but not forgotten!

Sunday morning on the beach near SLP, I saw a 50-ish woman in a small orange with red spots bikini with small triangular tops that covered boobs smaller that mine, and a stomach that hung down far enough to lead you to believe she had no bottoms on. I was wearing ray guard boots, wade-aid , PFD, lure box, fit over google - eyed sun glasses , and wide brimmed hat and rod. We stared at each other no doubt thinking the same thing....why on earth are you wearing that out in public ? LOL
