  • Blockade Runners Weekend of 5-28,29,&30

I'm still not sure what is going to happen with this weekend, but I do know one thing. If I'm going down there, I'm going to get there on Friday. I'll probably need someone to bring me in to the ramp and pick me back up on Saturday so I can hit this party I'm supposed to attend. I'll stay until sunset on Sunday. No Monday off for me. Gotta work, though the kids have the day off.

So there's your invite. 2112 may show, just not sure when. The place is an utter mess, but it's gettin' better. We can sleep 4 more pretty easily. The only work I plan on doing is cleaning up some of the mess and getting the kitchen all organized in the new cabinets. I'm sure the crabs will be runnin'.

A word of warning. I would not plan on fishing much from a boat during the daylight hours. You'll get nothing but frustration out of it with all the yahoos preparing to descend upon the area. I'll be sittin' on the porch, shaking my fist at them as they pass by at 1/4 throttle, making the largest wake possible. LOL!

                LMAO!

Well, Looks like I'm headed there Friday afternoon by meself if anyone wants in that night. Bert will be joining on Saturday in time to taxi me back and forth for the party I need to go to. If anyone else wants in, lemme know please. I plan to do a crab boil on Saturday and some very late night ribs on the grill after I get back. Bert will be flounderin' and I'm sure he'd like someone in the boat with him. The wind should be down this weekend compared to last. I'll take care of breakfast Sunday and we'll have whatever you bring for the boil on Sunday.

This will most likely be the night I slay them, nothing less than 20" in the cooler.

I am replacing my incandescent light bulbs with halogens. I'd like to give it a try tonight but its taking awhile to do this.
