It doesn't matter because they have a stabilized road on the South side of the FM 3005 that will take you to the beach.
4WD get your 30' further into somewhere you shouldn't have been in the first place
I'd say its turning into powder with the sun (no rain) and winds we've been having although I haven't been down there in a few weeks.We are West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe!

A real 4x4 is a truck / jeep or any vehicle that is fully locked in the front & rear.Originally posted by bountyhunter View PostQuit driving chevys and get you a real 4x4.......
2wd = 1 wheel spinning
4wd = 2 wheels spinning
4wd + 1 locker in rear = 3 wheels spinning
4wd + locker in F & R = 4 wheels spinning

Pack a shovel, some boards/plywood, a tire pump (let air out to about 15#s when stuck) to re-pump up tires after getting unstuck!! Or stay on hard areas."Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

If you get stuck just fill your truck bed full of sand will help add some weight for added traction.Originally posted by mlm View Posti'm familiar with the road. but i've gotten stuck after the road stops. i have a 2wd chevy (there's the problem). thanks for the reply. chompin at the bit for the wind to lay and surf to clear.
Best thing to do when you get stuck is just stop and dig yourself out... No need to burry the thing to the frame then your really going to be up the creekWe are West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe!

If on Galvatraz side get on the beach over by the toll booth and drive along the surf to get over to the pass. Do go back along the bridge.
You don't need 4x4 on Brazoria side.West End Anglers - You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.
