Beore you buy something just go by all the local eateries and ask to see the lost and found. This means you go to the place where you tip well and frequent. Thats where I Found my last two pairs of ray bans. Skills that pay the bills.

All I use are Costa and they are the best for me, but it all depends on your comfort level and budget. I will tell you one thing about sunglass that I bet all of you can relate to. You will NEVER lose or break a $ 10 pair from the gas station, but if you drop $ 100 or more, they are gone in a few months By the way, I went to the fish and hunt store of the tollway in Houston and they have some cool lanyards that do not slip off your sunglasses.

There are medical reasons for wearing good sunglasses that offer near 100% ultraviolet (UV) protection. Some cheap sunglasses do have UV protection but most do not. Plus, cheap sunglasses without the UV protection will make your eyes open wider, and you'll get MORE EXPOSURE that can damage the cornea and retina ... or increase chances of eye cancer. You'll recognize a few of the bestus subglasses manufacturers here:
        • Costa del Mar
        • Maui Jim
        • Oakley
        • Ray-Ban
        • Sexx Vision

Don't know what the heck that last one is all about, but it sure sounded good!

I bought a pair of Pepper's preformance sunglasses at a beach wear shop at Port Aransas. These $22 sunglasses are unconditionally guaranteed for one year for scratches and workmanship. After the first year they are guaranteed for life for $20 handling fee. They are comfortable, they float and they are polorized. They look good too. Google Pepper's Sunglasses.

Definitely Costas for me but recently I signed up on the FishGillz.com and they sent me a coupon for 2 for 1 so I said what the heck and you know what they aren't too bad. Very light and since I bought them for beaters, I went ahead and got different colors. One pair is white and the other is flamin red...they work very well too and all for $52. Also the glasses float, for those uh oh moments.

Ahh, so glad to be on the sunglasses discussion. Last night, I destroyed my pair of Costa's. I mean completely detstroyted them. Shattered the fight lense and floded the hinges 90 degrees down from the direction of the hinge. Pics to come.

Either way, now Im upgrading to the 580 lenses that I have always wanted. Hahaha, everything happens for a reason right?

welli have been wearing cheap sunglasses for two years and am still on the same pair, meaning i can treat myself to a legit pair now. the pair i have now has no eye pads anymore and is scratched to hell. student budget sucks.

Seriously, check out the Fishgillz. Very comfortable and not a bad price at $52.

Can't put a price on your eyes, if your ready to see the fish go with Costa Del Mar, I have worn them for the last 8 years and I swear by them my last 10 pairs have all been Costas. I have Maui Jims I have Fish Gillz they are both great glasses but I have found nothing that touches Costas. Amber Lens w/ Green Mirror reflection is what you want. I have a pair of Blue reflective for Off shore that I use as well. I wear my sunglasses 365 if its raining they are on, they cut through the glare on the road / mist, I see better with them on.

Yeah but when I leave my Costas sitting on the couch at Heartbreakers....well, the hurt is a lot less with FG's!
By all means the Costas are a better glass, but if on a budget....the FG aren't to shabby is what I meant!

the fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad.
