Yep, Friday SE 17 mph...Saturday NE 17 mph , pick your poison. I'm picking Saturday and checking out the south jetty wading/kayaking hoping the wind will flatten out the surf. Maybe moving on to SLP/mud Island.

Yea, I was a little disapointed when I woke up this morning, but I bet there will be a small window of decent wind tomorow.

Fished late out of Sylvan Beach yesterday and it was a solid 3-5'. Made a bee-line for the Bayport Channel and found a few flounder. We fished out of my neighbor's 22' Wellcraft Coastal and still got beat up pretty good.I work just enough to pay for my fishing habit.Comment

It always gets windy in spring, but last year was one of the worst windy seasons weve had in a long time! I remember I was in Port Mansfield last April and it was solit 4'-6' out in the bays!
