At the far West End of Galveston Island, sponsors plan to hold the West Bay Black Jack Tournament annually.
This is a fishing tournament, not a card game. It is sponsored by the West End Anglers, and the objective is to catch the trout, red or flounder closest to 21 inches without going over.
The angler who brings in the most live flounder, up to five, wins a special prize.
