                Greg... Make sure you test the jack plate and alarms on that engine... I bet it could easily find a pocket full of air and send your low water / water pump alarms sounding.

                Nice hull design though I didn't know GC made a CAT hull either.

                          Thats one of the design features on Gulf Coasts, its called the Vari-Side. High in the front and sides for rough water protection, low in the back for easy in/out access while wading. Gulf Coast really puts a lot of thought and customer feedback into their boats and features and make a dedicated fishing boat. My $.02 at least.
