Box Jelly fish at least you can see it coming... Iracongi is the sister or cousin somehow related and guess what its almost invisible to the human eye and causes death in 1/2 the time as Box Jellies! At about the size of a THUMB NAIL!

about 10 years ago i walked out at bird island..in shorts...... like an idiot.... got popped a couple of times by mana wars. didnt think nothin of it so i kept truckin to "tha spot." got there and was fishin for about 30 minutes and got nailed quite a few times so by now i am throbbing and decided to head in for some meat tenderizer in the tackle box. on the walk in..... more like a hopping fest.. i got nailed repeatedly. wound up goin to the emergency room. 43 spots they identified as seperate stings... man i am close to 280 lbs so i looked like the michelin tire man that night... never will forget that experience.... and will NEVER wear shorts again wading.... lol.. young and dumb back then.......if i dnt catch dinner, i will catch a buzz. it works out!

Spent my younger years on the beach in Gal. chasing women.Even nude a few times.Never incountered Jelly or Manawar.Now in my old age I always wear long pants wading because of them.Comment
