I am glad that everything worked out!
Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.

Way to go Mike. I'll have to buy you a superman outfit so you can stand out there after getting the boat off, with your fists on your hips and the sea breeze whipping your cape as you stare off into the distance.

First off...I admit I'm an idiot for going back there on a NW wind. The water color was a little off and you couldn't read the guts, which by the way...the one on the West end of Bird Island no longer connects on the North end, which is where we were. I haven't run the Pass in sometime since my boat has been in Matagorda and as Deke mentioned..."You think Id of learned my lesson"! I did today, I promise! West wind = NO PASS RUNNING!
What can I say about all WEA members and Mike(Explorer21)...you guys and gals rock. I truly think this is exactly the kind of things Coe was thinking of when he dreamed up this place. People helping people in all kinds of situations...especially of the nautical variety! Again, Mike, you will be rewarded in the future my friend!
I'm sore as all get out today, what a way to break in the boat and my hip!

I really do appreciate everyones efforts...I just can't say enough!

So Greg...was that you on the East side of Bird Island? I caught 1 lousy gafftop on a pink corky while we were waiting for the tide to come up(which it never did). How'd yall do?
                    Don't be a Nancy!
If it smells like fish....you know I've been there!

I deleted cookies and rebooted. It does some weird chit when you have FWE and FB logged on togther. I just figured this out. Wonder why?

Way to go Mike. Hopefully I never need a tow service out there, but if I do I am glad we have a great crew here to help.

Ouch Greg-that hurt FoF worse than his hip-while FoF was stuck, you were nailing fish!!
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.
