Yep-terrible. I have a buddy that's a deepwater production engineer for BP-he wasn't out there thank goodness, but handles that area.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

a very good friend of mine(trent donohue)is on a rig 30 miles away from the one that exploded.they heard it and could see the flames from 30 miles away this morning.they sent 2 boats from his rig to help in the rescue.thoughts and prayers have gone out to all the family and friends of the people on that rig.it may not seem like it,but when your way out in the gulf like that,30 miles is pretty close.i'm glad my buddy is alright out there.the rig he is on is called the "spirit".

X2. Amazing most all of them made it, although there was some confusion about the "missing 11" in a lifeboat. Any hear if they picked them up?

                  NYT article..

"A spokesman for Plaquemines Parish said that the 11 missing workers had been found by rescuers before noon Central time, but a spokesman for the Coast Guard said he was not yet able to verify the rescue.

“Everybody’s accounted for” said Kurt Fromherz, the parish spokesman. “They were found in a life boat.”

Mr. Fromhertz added that the 11 people rescued were alive, but he did not know whether any of them were injured"

                  Hopefully they're alright!!

                    Conflicting reports... Keep sending prayers...

                    From MSNBC

NEW ORLEANS - The U.S. Coast Guard said oil workers missing after a rig explosion off Louisiana have not been found, contrary to a report by a local government official.

"We have not. We're still searching" for 12 workers, said U.S. Coast Guard Lt. Sue Kerver, noting that the Coast Guard is the lead agency for the search and rescue effort.

Plaquemines Parish President Billy Nungesser had earlier told NBC affiliate WDSU that he received reports that the 11 workers were alive and safe.
