WOW I was in the State Park fishing in the winter of 2007 and had one hanging out with me. He would pop up right next to the yak about 10 feet from one side, go under and pop up on the other side. Followed me for 20 minutes or so then gone. Scared the L out of me the first time he popped up! lol

        Great pics!

A little while back i posted a pic of my new Yak, That pic came from its maiden voyage in Lake Como. I was drifting across toward Watermans and i see this large dark shape 10 foot away and heading right for me. Im thinking large Black Drum and grab my rod to drop lure in front of it. It (I called him Otto) Popped out half a foot from the side of the boat and we were face to face. First otter i have ever seen in 10 years of fishing West. Cool as heck but i bout slimed my new boat.
