  • Blockade Runners Weekend of April 9-11

Heading out with VJER tomorrow after school. TMO should be out there already. 007, Swampmomma, and her hubby will be arriving Saturday AM and 2112 and Bruce may come out as well. So we're full up on beds, but if anyone wants to come out during the days, come on out. We'll be doing a buncha work on the interior and maybe get some other things done. After thinkin' about it, it would be great to start on the porch railing. Anyway, I'll be offline starting at 4pm tomorrow. If'n you need me, get me on the phone. Can't wait to get on the bayou.

We flew back to Houston from Fort Worth today - took it easy, flew down low, and enjoyed the bluebonnets.

While we were at it, we swung by BR and saw these bluebonnets on the dock.

Oh man! Cool, cool, cool! Walker, that was just plain awesome! Quite an adrenoline rush to see that bird come down the bayou on a strafing run. It's interesting to see what the roof looks like from above. I knew it would look patchwork with all the different shingle colors we used. Hopefully soon we'll have the steel to cover it all up. I can't wait 'til y'all can buzz by again.
