  • Wet Wading

Curious as to what water temp the guys on this site start wet wading?

My rule of thumb as always been not until the water is at least 75 degrees.

I usually start wet wading when I start fishing towards the pass which is in the next week or 2.

I think that it's time already. The water has warmed up nicely in the last week or so.

im sick of the cold and waders. i wont get in the water again this year until i go in shorts and i hope its not too far off. wanting to go about 55 mph in the bote soaking wet to cool off sounds great to me right now.

I started 2 weeks ago when I got stuck in the mud and fell over. LOL the water was still cold I was glad it was 78 outside.

This is why I will still wear them into early May, especially in the mornings.
