Mud Boats & Mud Bugs
I'm extending the invitation to anyone from FishWestEnd.
As you all know I have a Mud Boat and another site I'm on (MudMotorTalk.com) I'm organizing a run with Mud Boats & Mud Bugs...
We are having a guy come out and cook us some mud bugs while were out playing around... Do you need a mud boat?! NO!!!
$10 / plate = 2lbs of crawfish, potato, corn & sausage.
Come launch at Hugo Point with everyone... Go fish or ride around (the water will still be high) and come help eat MUD BUGS!
The event is scheduled for Saturday April 17, 2010
It will be running all day but the boil will probably start ~ 3PM (yet to confirm)
Hugo Point is just East of Baytown in Wallisville (exit# 803) off I-10 and has a double wide boat ramp and puts you out into upper trinity bay near Anahauc... It has some great wadefishing & drift fishing in the area.
Easy access to Trinity River (fresh water fishing) or Trinity Bay to hit the saltwater.
I hope some of yall will be able to make it out! If you've never fished this area there's no better time to learn as its HEATING UP!
