Well, unable to sleep I just rolled out of bed and started looking for the cooler... Almost got in the car and started to drive back down there

An amazing time! Friday was a blast! I arrived around 3pm & didn't leave until close to midnight. Hats off to those who cooked Deano has named you all so I won't try and rename in fear I'll leave someone out.

I am extremely proud of how we did. We raised a lot of money for the Charity and the group we had out there was extremely fun to socialize with. 1st place in Beans, 1st place in Potato Salad & 3rd place in Brisket is a great showing for FishWestEnd.

Gilbert your tent was key!

Note to other cookers: Don't come over here thinking you can mix it up (wrestle) with us... FWE put people in headlocks and broke bones On a serious note I hope Jeff's foot heals alright alcohol & wrestling matches don't mix glad I left before those but I did get good video of 007 manhandling the penguin.

Saturday was a great time. A little slower than Friday because of the "FOG" (do we have a hungover smilie lol) Makers Mark at 10AM took care of that & we were back in business!

Breakfast was made tacos, sausage, jalapenos salsa. I saw Duane cooking them up but I know others helped.

Ray the oysters were amazing, 007 oyster shooter hurt too much . Note to self. 10 beers, 3 oyster shooters & 10 margaritas is probably my limit.

Going back to Saturday all the meats and sides were turned in no rush or arguing it was a very relaxed atmosphere which was KEY!

The pit was outstanding thanks to whomever brought that thing out there it was a great station and this being my first cook off it was a joy to sit & watch & just learn.

We did an amazing job of having stuff just perfectly done. Everything that came out of the pit was great tasting no complaints from anyone & other teams were coming by trying to get tastes

I'd be very interested to see how we did OVERALL. I guarantee we were in the top 10 overall.

A big thank you to everyone that came out! The ladies of FWE helped out tremendously and we couldn't have done it without yall either!

Until next year! last weekend in March 2011. Were going for Grand Champion!!

Ya I been in a few cookoffs and this one was tops, and ya ol penguins lucky he made it outta there unscaved!! He came up sumo wrestling with me around midnite he almost got dealt with!! I had never met him and did not know who this short bearded lil guy was, I slammed him once but 007 really took care of him 3 times!! He tapped out quick I bet they find another camp to pick on next year they get beat up at our camp!! Me and gilbert and monte really tied one on friday nite!! Till the sun came up!! I was hurtin yesterday
