I've had nights like that on my dock... I've caught well over 200 trout before in one night. (ALL RELEASED THOUGH)

We'll have a FWE Meeting in the vacant lot one night and setup lights, drinks and wings JT bring some VEGAS ladies and leave roll up doll at home

If I remember, a lot of the local guys were plenty upset. Wasn't a good time to have Texas plates at the ramp...

Not unless you wanted your tires slashed, batteries removed, or dents in the side of your truck.

I heard where they took one guy's trailer that had the latch pad locked . . . well, he only had a pin holding the hitch onto the truck receiver, so they took out the pin, slid the trailer back, flipped it over and put the hitch back in the receiver. Think about that, get to the ramp, get out of the boat to go back down your trailer and . . . . .

Just gotta wonder how you'd deal with it if you were by yourself. That's funny compared to slashed tires and dents. At least there was no permanent damage. I had someone load my trailer up with a port a potty a few weeks ago. Laughed my arse off while I was putting it back where it belonged.

Little Dwayne Lowry. That was circa 2002 ish?? he took a ton of flack for that here in Texas, along with making quite a few friends over on Big Lake. He didn't do anything that they wouldn't have done if they caught fish like that. Those guys hadn't even heard of releasing a trout back then. Dwayne is one of the best fishermen on the entire coast. I have friends that still fish with him in Seadrift. He taught the Sabine guys where half of the best reefs are in that lake and then went East and destroyed the egos of the best guides on big lake.

The kid can catch big trout!! and he didn't break a single regulation, it was just that it happened around the time that Texans finally started getting sensitive about killing big trout. I can assure you that many days of catching like that happened on Big Lake that we never saw pictures of. I know of a 4 man party that made that stringer look like popcorn trout. Of course I got the call while they were on the way home!!

Looks like one of those days where the group gets off the boat and says lets keep some fish. Start smashin good trout stringing the small ones. When every one gets back to the boat and throws their stringer of small ones on the boat they realize they are all 4 and 5 pounders. Makes the group wonder what the stringer could have looked like if they would have kept the big ones HAHA.

Some un namable friend of mine called me years ago on his way home and said something like 23 trout over 7 pounds, and like 7 or 8 were over 29 inches. I can't remember who that was but I do recall not liking him for a while.... If I recall, all of the little ones were 5's and 6's. Crappy day for sure!

Both pics are pretty much a dead giveaway that those guys were from Texas...the few times I had fished there, never saw a La. guide get out of the boat. Many times had them slip past me within casting distance, trolling motor on overtime...

I don't get why people would be upset. Anyone that is upset with people catching and keeping a legal limit is a moron. But the world is full of them . . . . .
