Michelle, my golden just passed it was rough... Just FYI there are lab puppies for sale for $150 nothing replaces the memory but adding joy by having a pet is always something I've surrounded myself with.We are West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe!Comment

thanks harry. 2 days ago he got sick suddenly, mostly nausea and some vomiting. we went to the doggie er and they gave an injection for nausea which finally kicked in about 8 hours later. he was a bit better sunday, but pretty lethargic. took him in first thing this am to the same er and they took some abdominal xrays which showed a suspicious liver mass about the size of a baseball. they referred me to sara kessler at animal kingdom pet hospital in league city. she did blood work and another series of xrays which confirmed the mass. he was too anemic and had too few platelets to do a biopsy of the liver and he had declined so rapidly i had no choice but to put him down and take him out of his misery. thankfully he only suffered two days. she suspected internal bleeding and that part of the tumor had possibly ruptured and caused the abrupt demise. this has been one of the worst experiences of my life. i so loved that dog.
