The only way I can help
Sorry to hear about your wheels. I woke up a few years back and found my Mustang on blocks. I become an instant profilier after that.
For all you guys and girls out there with the 20" wheels on your Silverados, Tahoes, Avalanches and Suburbans that these jackazzes want so bad, I work for the Champion Chevrolet Gulf Freeway parts department and would be willing to sell the GM add on shock sensor and inclination sensor at my cost to any of you or your friends. These add on sensor splice into your factory set up. I have no control over the price of installation. I can only sell the kits at a discounted rate.
Shock Sensor List=$110.00 WestEnders=$90.00 (Parts Only)
Inclination Sensor List=$150.00 WestEnders=$125.00 (Parts Only)
GM Wheel Locks List=$39.00 WestEnders=$32.00 (Parts Only)
There is not much mark-up on these, so the discounts are not as deep as I wish they could be. If I can help any of you, my name is Jason Castillo and my work number is 281-929-3235. If you choose to have them installed at our dealer, I will hook you up with a fellow fisherman to get that ball rolling.

Didn't leave NTB until 6PM.
The guys got there at 2PM 3 hours after I initially was told they'd arrive.
10:47 AM I call and they say they just left 5 min ago.
11:30 AM I call they had to go downtown to get extra lug nuts for the rims
1:20 PM I call they had car trouble
2:00 PM They arrive and quickly put on the rims & tires (I'm just happy they're helping me out)
2:20 PM They realize 1 rim & tire combo was the wrong lug width slightly different... We put spare on and I follow them to shop (as planned)
3 PM I drop off truck and head to eat at Bayou City Seafood while truck is at shop.
During lunch they brought the wrong rim from another shop again...
2 more times this happened until finally at 5:30 PM we got the right one in they apologized profusely and I left.
Upon leaving the charging system aka ALTERNATOR fails! By the time I reach the storage unti ~ 8 miles my volts are reading 9!
Drop off boat ~ 6PM
Head straight to O'Reily's test battery... its dead. Get a free replacement (luckily I bought that one there) swap it out real quick do a alternator test and its not putting out hardly any AMPS.
Truck back at house @ 8PM in time for THE PACIFIC
On charger heading to Davis Chevrolet tomorrow for an already scheduled rear main seal replacement (warranty) figured they could figure out what's going on with it.

That does suck....sometimes you just wish they'd take the whole damn thing (if you're full coverage of course ). That happened to me with a camaro, 3 times they took it. On the third it finally never came home! Hopefully your bad luck is behind you!Don't be a Nancy!
If it smells like fish....you know I've been there!

Sorry about your troubles Coe. Some days it seems to go from bad to worse.
Looks like you need a new sheriff, and new mayor, a new judge, both county and judicial and a new local attitude that doesn't put up with theives. Get rid of all of the current elected officials until the community attitude changes.Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.

Well day seems to be turning for the better. Dropped Tahoe off this AM at dealership...
Front wheel bearing = $580 (OUCH) ---> Oh but you have an '07 well that's covered under your power train... THANK GOD!
Rear Main seal (warranty item as well)... it needs to be replaced... = FREE LOANER CAR (CHEVY TRUCK!) not some Enterprise "cool car"
Alternator and Alignment are going to be my main expenses (which is nothing really) & its a lot better than I originally anticipated. Should have the truck back tomorrow afternoon...Last edited by WestEndAngler; March 22, 2010, 11:25 AM.We are West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe!

Man, $580 for a wheel bearing??? Freakin' highway robbery! That's the kind of thing that keeps people away from dealershipsFrom 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."
